Our team is expanding! We have two new Research Assistants from Duke Law working to support RAILS working groups this summer.

Meet Susan Tejuosho.

Susan Tejuosho is an accomplished leader with a unique blend of legal expertise, technological prowess, and a deep passion for leveraging AI to drive innovation in the legal industry. With a strong foundation in law, holding an LL.B. and an LL.M. in International Law, Susan has seamlessly integrated her legal acumen with cutting-edge AI and technology skills.
Susan's experience as a Product Owner and Founder of BackedMe showcases her ability to develop AI-powered legal tech solutions, including a platform that streamlined onboarding processes and a groundbreaking AI chatbot framework for conflict resolution. Her expertise extends beyond legal tech, encompassing a diverse range of AI and ML technologies, such as Generative AI tools like Google's Vertex AI Studio, Gemini Pro, and GPT-4, and data proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Python scripting.
Susan’s academic background includes a Master’s in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University as well as certifications in Generative AI, Responsible AI, and Project Management.
Meet Andrea Rojas Rozo.

Andrea Rojas Rozo, LLM'20, is a Colombian attorney interested in the intersection between computer science and law. As a Fulbright scholarship recipient, she studied an LLM at Duke University School of Law and later joined the Duke Center on Law and Tech as a Research Assistant between 2020 and 2021. She is now joining RAILS as a consultant.
